Aroundtown has achieved several leasing successes at the office building Admiraliteitskade 62 in Rotterdam. Lease renewals and new lettings with well-known companies further strengthen the attractiveness of the location and significantly improve the long-term leasing structure.
The most significant achievement is the lease extension with the anchor tenant, a global provider of risk advisory services, for approximately 8,400 sqm. This is complemented by additional new lettings and extensions with other existing tenants. Nevesbu, a specialist in naval architecture and maritime engineering, has secured around 1,750 sqm. Chane, an international supply chain company for liquid goods, combines a lease extension of approximately 700 sqm with an additional new lease of around 1,050 sqm. KoersVO, the regional network for inclusive secondary education in Rotterdam and the surrounding area, is taking up approximately 1,255 sqm under a new lease agreement. Together with several smaller new leases such as Doctors at Soap and extensions with existing tenants, with a combined surface of more than 1,500 sqm, this results in a total of more than 14,500 sqm of new leases and extensions. Altogether, these transactions confirm the strong demand for modern office space in central Rotterdam. All lease agreements have been concluded on a long-term basis with terms of around ten years, contributing significantly to the stability of the asset.
