Bahlsen GmbH & Co. KG has signed a long-term lease agreement for retail space in the Stollwerck House at Hohe Straße 160–168 in Cologne. The company will open its first inner-city location in North Rhine-Westphalia there in autumn 2026, thus securing a prominent presence in one of the most frequented shopping streets in the state. Colliers acted as an intermediary in the area application.
The rented space comprises around 400 m² of sales space on the ground floor. The lease agreement underlines Bahlsen's long-term commitment to the Cologne location.
Hohe Straße is one of the most important retail locations in Germany and benefits in particular from its immediate proximity to Cologne Cathedral and a high tourist frequency. With the new location, Bahlsen is strengthening its brand presence in brick-and-mortar retail and creating an attractive offer for customers in the heart of Cologne's city centre.
