Upon completion, STADT UND LAND will take over 51 rental flats in Berlin-Neukölln
Construction has begun on a new housing development at 26 Silbersteinstraße in Berlin-Neukölln. On a plot of land measuring approximately 950 square metres, 51 rental flats with around 3,000 square metres of living space are being built; upon completion, these will be taken over by STADT UND LAND Wohnbauten-Gesellschaft mbH. The project is being carried out by KIMAVI GmbH.
There is a particular focus on affordable housing: 49 of the 51 flats are being built as subsidised housing and comprise around 2,920 square metres of living space. The plans include 20 one-bedroom, 14 two-bedroom, 14 three-bedroom and three four-bedroom flats. In doing so, STADT UND LAND is expanding its range of rent-controlled housing in Neukölln and creating flats to suit different household sizes.
According to the current planning schedule, the new building is due to be completed in the second quarter of 2028.
