DSK Deutsche Stadt- und Grundstücksentwicklungsgesellschaft mbH is strengthening its presence in southern Germany and will in future be represented in Baden-Württemberg by its own subsidiary. DSK Stadtentwicklung Baden-Württemberg GmbH is based in Stuttgart and supports towns and local authorities in the state, particularly in the areas of urban regeneration, urban development funding, project management, building land development and planning.
With this new company, DSK is systematically continuing the expansion of its activities in Baden-Württemberg, as announced in the summer. The Stuttgart team comprises Managing Director Martin Riedißer, Senior Expert Wolfgang Fürst, urban planner and project administrator Sandra Grau, and Project Manager Till Widmann. Together, they bring many years of experience in urban development and in working with local authorities in Baden-Württemberg.
"With DSK Baden-Württemberg, we are establishing a permanent point of contact for the towns and local authorities in the state. We are familiar with the local government structures and challenges in Baden-Württemberg and want to apply our experience where it is specifically needed," explains Martin Riedißer, Managing Director of DSK Stadtentwicklung Baden-Württemberg GmbH.
Initially, the work will focus on urban regeneration measures, urban development funding and planning tasks. DSK Baden-Württemberg supports local authorities throughout this process, from preliminary studies and planning services through to grant management, and on to the implementation and settlement of measures. In the medium term, the full range of DSK’s services is to be offered in Baden-Württemberg; from its Stuttgart base, DSK is also turning its attention to local authorities in Bavaria.
"With DSK Baden-Württemberg, we are establishing our own permanent structure within the state. In doing so, we are consistently pursuing our announced growth strategy in southern Germany and strengthening our presence in a market that is important to us," explains Eckhard Horwedel, managing partner of DSK.
