BNP Paribas Real Estate Advisory announces leadership changes as part of its pan-European growth strategy. These changes will further strengthen advisory activities in Europe, improve cross-market collaboration and support sustainable growth.
After a career of almost forty years with the company, Laurent Boucher, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas Real Estate with responsibility for the advisory business in Europe and CEO of Advisory France, will retire on 31 December 2026.
Throughout his career, Laurent Boucher has contributed to the development of the advisory activities in France and subsequently to their expansion in Europe. As a member of the Executive Board, he has played a key role in shaping the strategic direction of BNP Paribas Real Estate and driving the company's growth. The Executive Board would like to thank him for his tireless commitment and his decisive contribution to the success of the company throughout his career.
To ensure a smooth transition, Laurent Boucher will continue to support the company as CEO of Advisory France and as a member of the Executive Board of BNP Paribas Real Estate until 31 December 2026.
Effective September 15, 2026, Marcus Zorn will be appointed CEO of BNP Paribas Real Estate Advisory. He will retain his current role as a member of the Executive Board of BNP Paribas Real Estate and as CEO of BNP Paribas Real Estate Germany.
This appointment builds on the work carried out in recent years to develop a pan-European advisory platform for BNP Paribas Real Estate's clients. Thanks to his extensive knowledge of European markets and his experience in managing one of the continent's largest real estate markets, Marcus Zorn will continue on this path by facilitating clients' access to BNP Paribas Real Estate's full range of services in Europe.
"The quality of our teams and the breadth of our expertise in Europe give us unique strengths in supporting our clients. It is an honour for me to build on the work done over the past years. My priority will be to further strengthen the synergies between our countries and to provide our clients with even more seamless access to BNP Paribas Real Estate's best expertise in order to improve the performance of their projects," said Marcus Zorn.
In addition, Brice de Germay will succeed Laurent Boucher as CEO of BNP Paribas Real Estate Advisory France, effective January 1, 2027. Since January of this year, he has been Deputy CEO of the same entity.
This appointment ensures that clients in the French market will continue to receive first-class service based on an in-depth understanding of the real estate industry issues as well as the investors and users who make France the company's leading advisory market.
Laurent Boucher said: "I am retiring into the future with great confidence, inspired by the commitment and professionalism of the teams with whom I have had the privilege of supporting our clients over the years. I am convinced that under the leadership of Brice de Germay and with the support of all consulting teams, they will continue to benefit from the highest level of expertise."
"These changes in the leadership set-up are fully in line with our ambition to provide increasingly integrated support to our clients across Europe, combining the proximity of our local teams, the depth of our service offering and the strength of our pan-European network. With their complementary experience and skills, Marcus Zorn and Brice de Germay will play a central role in strengthening our advisory business," concludes Jean-Maxime Jouis, CEO of BNP Paribas Real Estate.
Marcus Zorn joined BNP Paribas Real Estate Germany in 1995 and over the course of his career has held various positions of increasing responsibility in various asset classes – including Office Advisory, Investment, Industrial Services and Retail Services – as well as in major German cities, in particular Hamburg and Düsseldorf. He has been Managing Director of BNP Paribas Real Estate since 2008, was appointed Head of Transactions in 2010 and promoted to Deputy Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas Real Estate Germany in 2012. He has also been a member of the International Executive Committee of BNP Paribas Real Estate since 2016. In 2021, he became Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas Real Estate Germany.
Brice de Germay has been with BNP Paribas Real Estate since 2004. After holding various management positions in Residential Block Sales and in the commercial real estate owner's client business, he joined the Investment team for Greater Paris in 2011. He then took over as Head of Capital Markets. Since 1 January 2026, he has also been Deputy Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas Real Estate Advisory France.
