Intelligent parking management as a response to new mobility requirements
With the project in Lübbecke, the parking experts at Goldbeck Parking Services show how current requirements for mobility, infrastructure and space efficiency can be translated into an intelligent parking concept. Increasing traffic congestion, limited space and the demand for simple, intuitive use require parking solutions that are convincing today and grow with them tomorrow.
"Intelligent parking management develops parking areas into networked, digital mobility spaces," says Stephan Pieper, Managing Director of Goldbeck Parking Services GmbH. "Modern technologies allow space to be used more efficiently, processes to be automated and mobility services to be intelligently linked. Digital booking, cashless payment, automatic license plate recognition, sharing offers and charging infrastructure can be seamlessly integrated. In this way, previously unused areas are economically activated and made usable as part of modern mobility services – with clear advantages for operators and users."
The project at Lübbecke Hospital is an example of how tailor-made and future-proof parking solutions can be implemented under demanding conditions – with a focus on efficiency, user orientation and optimised use of space. This creates a seamless mobility experience that adapts flexibly to new forms of mobility and increases the attractiveness of the location in the long term.
