aam2core Holding AG has launched its own sustainability consultancy, aam2green Advisory GmbH. The investment and asset manager is thus carrying out its ESG advisory services in an independent company that will also be open to third party market players in the future. The managing director responsible for operations at aam2green is Dr. Thomas Worschech, who has been responsible for aam2core’s sustainability division as Head of ESG & Sustainability for around three years.
Thomas Worschech holds a doctorate in Sustainable Real Estate Management. After several years as a management consultant, he worked at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) as a lecturer for the lecture series (Sustainable) Real Estate Management. His teaching, research and doctoral activities focused on the future viability of real estate and the development of manage-to-green strategies. In addition, he is active in advising on regulatory sustainability requirements in the construction and operation of real estate.
aam2green’s modular service portfolio offers all the building blocks for a well-founded entry into the sustainable transformation of real estate: from the initial valuation of new and existing properties using carbon footprint and CRREM stranding analyses, EU taxonomy check, DGNB GiB potential analysis to physical climate risk assessments.
Sustainability expertise meets implementation competence
Based on the results of the analysis, aam2green creates an individually designed action plan, both as part of ESG due diligence and to support specific reporting requirements. In doing so, aam2core takes over the consistent implementation of all recommended measures. Both service areas are deliberately offered separately on the market to ensure maximum transparency and efficiency. The first projects are already being successfully implemented.
