Sötern Wildlife ParkPV in operation: Perigus Energy combines agricultural fallow deer farming with ground-mounted solar energy for the first time

Perigus Energy has commissioned Germany's first wildlife park PV system at the Weiherhof in Sötern. The 8.3 MWp ground-mounted PV in the fallow deer gate generates around 9.5 million kWh annually and saves approx. 5,530 t of CO2; Commissioning on 1.9.2026 with Minister Petra Berg.

Perigus Energy has acquired the rights to the approved Olpe-Rehringhausen wind farm from ABO Energy. On March 26, 2026, the district of Olpe approved three wind turbines with 7 MW each. The proximity to the Windfart project creates synergies for planning, implementation and operation.
