CBRE Investment Management (“CBRE IM”) has, on behalf of a client, let an industrial and logistics property measuring approximately 13,000 square metres on Poll-Vingster-Straße in Cologne to an international express and logistics company. The company specialises in e-commerce and last-mile delivery.
The lease commenced on 1 September 2026 and is initially for a term of five years. There is also an option to extend it for a further five years. The leased space comprises around 11,000 square metres of warehouse space, as well as approximately 1,000 square metres each of mezzanine and office space.
Annabelle Dierks, Head of Logistics Asset Management Germany at CBRE Investment Management, says: “This let confirms the ongoing demand for well-connected logistics space in urban markets. Locations from which large conurbations can be served quickly and efficiently are particularly sought after for e-commerce and last-mile delivery. The property in Cologne offers excellent conditions for this and meets the new occupier’s requirements.”
The site is well connected to the regional and national transport networks via the nearby A4 and A559 motorways. Local public transport is also easily accessible. The property, due for completion in 2023, also features a photovoltaic system, charging facilities for electric vehicles and e-bikes, and a full-coverage sprinkler system.
Savills advised the tenant throughout the entire letting process and arranged the tenancy agreement.
