The global real estate service provider CBRE has taken over the management mandate for the LuisenForum in Wiesbaden from Savills on 1 September. CBRE Retail Consulting will be responsible for center management, including leasing, as well as commercial and technical property management. Sandra Moore was appointed center manager. Since 2018, the property has been part of the M&G European Property Fund.

“The LuisenForum is a central shopping location in Wiesbaden. Our goal is to sustainably improve the quality of the center through an active leasing strategy,” says Moore. “As one of the largest inner-city shopping centres in Hesse, the LuisenForum plays a key role in a lively Wiesbaden city centre. We want to create a place where people like to stroll, shop and linger and thus strengthen the attractiveness of the entire city centre.”

“Together with our long-standing partner M&G Real Estate, we are now looking forward to further expanding our cooperation in the retail sector. This exemplifies our growth strategy in center management and the positive future of many shopping centers in Germany. Our team around the new center manager Sandra Moore starts with many ideas for the further development of the LuisenForum,” says Ralf Schrankel, Head of Shopping Center Management Germany.

The LuisenForum was created in 2008 from the conversion of a former Karstadt property and today offers a mixture of retail, office space, fitness and gastronomy. The rentable space for retail, gastronomy and fitness is around 23,000 square metres, plus around 11,000 square metres of office space.
