Goldbeck Facility Services, part of the construction and services company Goldbeck, which operates throughout Europe, and the Procurement Office of the Federal Ministry of the Interior are extending and intensifying their cooperation. Through Paribus beschaffungamt Bonn UG (haftungsbeschränkt) & Co., the federal authority recently extended the contract for facility management services for an office and administration building in Bonn that it uses itself, which has been running since 2011, for a further three years.
As part of the contract extension, the client is also expanding the services used by Goldbeck Facility Services: In addition to technical building management, Goldbeck will also be responsible for infrastructural building management in the future and will ensure flawless building operation at all times with its own in-house technicians on site and 24/7 on-call service. The real estate service provider also assumes the operator obligations for the procurement office, takes care of the reporting and provides a fire protection officer.
“The professional and reliable cooperation with Goldbeck Facility Services is an important building block for us for the smooth operation of our property. For us, the support of experienced external service providers in facility management is of great importance in order to meet the high requirements for safety, sustainability and efficiency in public buildings in the long term. We appreciate the long-standing partnership with Goldbeck and look forward to continuing it together,” says Karolin Schmidt, Asset Manager, Paribus Procurement Office Bonn.
“We see the extension of our contract with Paribus and the expansion of our scope of services as a strong sign of confidence in our services. The management of public real estate is one of our core competencies: We see ourselves as a central partner for the public sector in joint responsibility for sustainable and efficient real estate management. We are pleased about the continued cooperation with Paribus, which has been in place since 2011, and will continue to consistently maintain our high quality standards in the future,” says Christian Ziemer, Managing Director of Goldbeck Facility Services.
The five-storey office property at Brühler Strasse 3 was built by Goldbeck in 2011 and comprises around 7,600 square metres of rental space. In 2016, the property received the platinum certificate from the German Sustainable Building Council due to its energy-efficient properties: Among other things, it has thermal insulation glazing and a gravel and green flat roof. In the immediate vicinity there are numerous other federal offices as well as the Federal Ministry of Finance and the University of Bonn.
