Deutsche Bürohaus GmbH, a subsidiary of the DVI Group, has leased 1,700 square metres of office space in its office building at Annaberger Straße 89-91 in Chemnitz to a financial services company.
The newly let office space will be converted for the tenant in the coming months in line with the needs of the tenant and is to be handed over to him in the fourth quarter. The lease was brokered by the office leasing team of Colliers Frankfurt.
The six-storey office building at Annaberger Straße 89-91 was built in 1997 and originally served the city of Chemnitz as the Technical Town Hall. The DVI Group took over the building in 2020 completely vacant from two real estate funds and has since continuously gained new office tenants. These include the health insurance company IKK classic, the Federal Institute for Real Estate (BImA), the city of Chemnitz, the Federal Office of Administration and the nationwide education service provider Stiftung Bildung und Handwerk (SBH).
“The office building convinces commercial tenants above all with its convenient location in the southern city center of Chemnitz as well as with its functional floor plans and the space available that can be flexibly adapted to tenant needs. Its location directly on the federal highway 95 ensures very good transport connections. Directly behind the building, there are also parking facilities for around 370 cars, which can be used by the employees or customers of our tenants,” says Dirk Wichner, Managing Director of Deutsche Bürohaus GmbH.
