Emerald Advisory takes over the German support and operational management of selected credit exposures for the Luxembourg fund

Emerald Advisory GmbH, a Frankfurt-based consulting firm in the Real Estate Debt segment, has been awarded a credit management mandate for the Marshall Bridge Fund. The Marshall Bridge Fund is a Luxembourg-based real estate finance fund that specialises in short-term bridge financing in Germany and the UK.

As a full servicing partner, Emerald Advisory takes care of all operational credit and workout processes in Germany. This includes the administration and settlement of credit transactions such as the structured work-out of non-performing loans, the coordination of insolvency and foreclosure proceedings, as well as negotiations with borrowers, insolvency and foreclosure administrators and potential buyers.

In addition, the mandate includes the marketing of real estate and real estate loans, the development of viable real estate and management concepts as well as coordination with all authorities involved. The scope of services is supplemented by the control of real estate within the framework, which is acquired in emergency situations. Here, Emerald Advisory will contribute to achieving economically viable solutions in the institutional lending environment.

Dr. Norman Scherer, Managing Director of Emerald Advisory, commented: “I am delighted to have been appointed to the Marshall Bridge Fund. For us, this order is a sign of confidence in our experience and competence. We are well connected in the field of real estate loan management in Germany. This allows us to react quickly and achieve optimal results for our client. The cooperation strengthens our position in professional servicing.”

On the Marshall Bridge Fund side, the mandate is led by Xavier Deu, Managing Partner, Head of Compliance, and Paul Hunt, Chairman of the Investment Committee.
