FASTR, one of the leading energy service providers and decarbonisation partners in the property sector, is the new Bronze Partner of the BFW Bavarian Regional Association. The partnership was originally established under the name BayWa Energie Dienstleistungs GmbH (BayWa EDL) and will continue under the FASTR brand following its integration and rebranding.
Through this partnership, FASTR brings its expertise in the cost-effective, practical and scalable decarbonisation of property portfolios to the BFW Bayern network. The focus is on professional dialogue with member companies and policy-makers, as well as concrete solutions for the energy transition of properties.
Focus on cost-effectiveness and practical applicability
“The property sector faces the challenge of reconciling climate targets, economic viability and security of supply. This requires solutions that not only work on paper, but can actually be implemented across the existing building stock. BFW Bayern provides us with an important platform for engaging in dialogue with companies and other relevant stakeholders and for jointly developing practical approaches to decarbonisation. Collaboration with local authorities also plays a key role in this,” emphasises Jens Goldmund, Head of Commercial at FASTR.
Closer collaboration with the Bavarian property sector
In addition to networking with stakeholders in the property sector and representatives from the political sphere, the collaboration focuses in particular on providing information, advice and training. The partnership is therefore intended to promote the ongoing transfer of knowledge regarding current challenges facing the property and energy sectors, and to identify concrete solutions for the transformation of property portfolios.
“The building sector can only achieve its transformation goals if the property and energy sectors work closely together. With FASTR, we are gaining a new partner within the association that combines expertise in the energy sector and technical know-how with a clear understanding of the economic requirements of our member companies. We look forward to professional exchanges and new ideas for our members,” says Peter Hülsen, Managing Director of the BFW Bavarian Regional Association.
