GARBE Industrial, one of the leading developers, providers and managers of logistics, industrial and commercial real estate in Germany and Europe, is restructuring its management team. With the reorganization, the company is responding to changing market conditions and aligning itself even more closely with the needs of its customers.
As part of the reorganization, Christopher Garbe will concentrate as CEO on the strategic orientation, business development and international activities of GARBE Industrial in the future.
Jan Philipp Daun, Managing Director of GARBE Industrial, will take over responsibility for the development area with immediate effect in addition to the areas of investment and joint venture. In the future, he will focus even more strongly on new business and the expansion of the development pipeline.
Andrea Agrusow, Managing Director of GARBE Industrial for almost three and a half years, will continue to be responsible for commercial management and real estate management as well as digital transformation & IT. In addition, it will take over the Portfolio Management division. In her expanded role, she will focus in particular on securing the existing business as well as on the integrated and transparent management of the real estate portfolios.
Jan Dietrich Hempel is scheduled to leave the company at the end of 2026. Until then, he will continue to perform his duties in the management in full. Hempel joined the company in 2009, was appointed to the Management Board of Garbe Logistic AG in 2011 and has been Managing Director of GARBE Industrial since May 2016.
There will also be a reorganization in the Development division: Michael Marcinek will succeed Adrian Zellner, who has been responsible for sales and business development at GARBE Industrial since 2019. Marcinek has been Head of Business Development in Development at GARBE Industrial since March 2025. In the future, Michael Marcinek and Maik Zeranski will be jointly responsible for Development as members of the Executive Board. Zeranski has been working for GARBE Industrial in the field of project development since 2012. Adrian Zellner will continue to support the company in an advisory capacity and take on special tasks.
Christopher Garbe, Managing Partner of GARBE Industrial, explains: “With the reorganization of the management, we are consistently positioning ourselves in a customer-oriented manner. In the future, Jan Philipp Daun’s teams will be able to concentrate even more focused on business development in the investment and project development area in order to achieve our ambitious growth targets. In this set-up, Andrea Agrusow will be able to focus optimally on our existing customer relationships. With their teams in real estate and portfolio management, we ensure uniform, professional management and transparent communication with our clients.”
Garbe adds: “I would like to expressly thank Adrian Zellner and Jan Dietrich Hempel for the many years of trusting cooperation. Jan Dietrich was instrumental in establishing and positioning GARBE as a European market player, and with Adrian we have become the German market leader in project development.”
