Green FOX Energy, an independent investor, project developer, portfolio holder and operator of renewable energy plants in Germany, has sold a solar park in Beckum in the district of Warendorf in North Rhine-Westphalia, developed and built with its joint venture partner ON Energy from Dortmund, to the regional energy provider Energieversorgung Beckum (evb). The plant, with a capacity of around 3.5 MWp, was already connected to the grid at the end of June 2025. The energy produced can supply more than 1,000 households with electricity.
“We are pleased to have successfully developed this project together with our joint venture partner ON Energy and have now found a local buyer for the solar park. The successful sale shows that municipally-anchored solar parks in particular are economically attractive and strengthen the regional energy supply. For us, this creates the basis for pushing ahead with further projects in the pipeline,” says Tobias Aulich, Managing Director of Green FOX Energy.
The installation of the solar systems began in mid-March 2025 and was completed according to the announced schedule.
