GRR GARBE Retail Real Estate GmbH (GRR GARBE) has acquired a full-range food retailer in the Neunkirchen area (Saarland) for GRR German Retail Fund No. 4 as part of an asset deal. This brings the number of properties in the portfolio to 54 properties. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. Blue Tree Real Estate GmbH brokered the transaction. The legal and tax support was provided by Dr. Philip Huperz/GSK Stockmann and his team. Schuster Real Estate Consultants GmbH from Ansbach was responsible for the technical due diligence. The main tenant is REWE, one of Germany’s leading food retailers.
The local supply property, built in 2013, is located on a plot of around 5,850 square metres and has approx. 80 car parking spaces. The location is particularly attractive due to its location at a roundabout and the connection to public transport with bus stops and a train station in the immediate vicinity.
The property is conveniently located between Saarbrücken and Neunkirchen with a direct connection to the A8 motorway. The location convinces with an attractive catchment area and a balanced population structure. In addition, the municipality benefits from a good local infrastructure and proximity to the regional economic centres.
