The IPH Group has won the Australian jewellery brand Lovisa as well as the globally operating streetwear and sneaker retailer SNIPES as new tenants for the "HUMA Shopping & Outlet" in Sankt Augustin. While Lovisa has already moved into 80 square meters, SNIPES plans to open its 340 square meters in the fourth quarter of 2025.
"Strategically, we are further expanding the attractiveness of the 'HUMA Shopping & Outlet' with the trendy and expansive brands and complementing the two ranges in order to become even more attractive for customers," explains Jens Block, Director at IPH Handelsimmobilien GmbH. "With the letting of the two units, we are getting closer to full occupancy in the 'HUMA – Shopping' area. There are less than a handful of shop units left for rent."
The "HUMA Shopping & Outlet" in the centre of Sankt Augustin has a rental area of around 50,000 square metres with around 130 shops. The anchor tenants include Edeka, Aldi, dm Drogerie, Drogerie Müller, H&M, engbers, Kult, TK Maxx, Saturn, Smyths Toys. At the end of 2024, the 'HUMA Outlet' started on the first floor, on an area of 9,000 square metres. This combination of shopping center and outlet has created a concept that is unique in Germany to date. The expansion of the range of services will address new target groups as well as significantly expand the catchment area – up to one million additional customers are expected each year.
