The Frankfurt-based real estate specialist Lübke Kelber has successfully completed the brokerage of the residential complex “Haus am Römerberg” in Mainz-Weisenau to the AMADEUS Group from Limburg. The property in the eastern district of Weisenau comprises 168 residential units on around 7,000 square metres of rental space, making it one of the larger residential complexes in Mainz. The private seller of the property does not want to be named. The purchase price was also not disclosed.
The inexpensively designed and highly sought-after 1- to 2-room apartments with an average apartment size of just under 39 square meters offer long-term development prospects for the new owner. There is also the possibility of densification. “This latest transaction shows that complex real estate transactions often require an experienced advisor to find a suitable buyer and to guide both parties through the transaction process in a targeted manner,” says Julian Petri, Director at Lübke Kelber in Frankfurt.
The complex is located in a quiet residential area on the eastern bank of the Rhine. Shopping facilities, schools and transport links are easily accessible, making the location attractive for both tenants and investors. The combination of stable building fabric, flexibly usable units and proximity to the Rhine distinguishes the “Haus am Römerberg” as a solid investment.
