Newmark continues to expand its leadership structure in the German residential investment market and appoints Konstantin Lüttger and Sebastian Schütte as Co-Heads of Living Capital Markets Germany. In this role, together with André Berger and Tobias Köhler, they are responsible for the strategic development of the business unit through a sharpened regional orientation in the German core markets.
At the Hamburg office, Jonathan Tegtmeyer will expand the team as Senior Vice President and assume responsibility for investor relations and the residential segment in northern Germany. The aim is to provide tailor-made advice across the entire living spectrum – from classic living to special segments and complex institutional investment structures.
“With Konstantin Lüttger and Sebastian Schütte, we are strengthening our expertise in the field of living capital markets in a targeted manner,” says Marcus Lütgering, Country Head Germany at Newmark. “Together with André Berger and Tobias Köhler, they form a strong, complementary management team. With over 20 years of experience, Konstantin is one of the most distinguished experts in the industry and brings an extraordinary national and international network with him. Sebastian complements this perspective with strong transaction experience and market knowledge. Together, we are creating a structure that accompanies our customers in the residential segment reliably, strategically and at the highest level.”
To ensure maximum market penetration, operational responsibilities within the management team have been sharpened geographically. Konstantin Lüttger, who was also elected spokesman of the division, manages the Frankfurt office and focuses on advising international investors. In addition to his role as Head of Portfolio Germany, Sebastian Schütte is responsible for residential transactions in Berlin and eastern Germany. André Berger, who was born in Stuttgart and is based in Hamburg, will take over the management for Hamburg and Northern Germany as well as the Stuttgart location. Tobias Köhler is responsible for the regions of Munich, Southern Germany and North Rhine-Westphalia, which he has been successfully supporting for many years.
“The German residential investment market demands a clear position and honest, well-founded and reliable advice,” explains Konstantin Lüttger, spokesperson and co-head of Living Capital Markets. “Our aim is to strategically develop Newmark’s living business and establish it as the leading address for residential investments in Germany.
The Living team covers the residential, PBSA, healthcare and social infrastructure segments as well as other specialized investment areas. In addition to individual and portfolio transactions, the focus is on structuring sophisticated capital market processes and long-term support for institutional and private investors.
