REALOGIS Immobilien Deutschland GmbH (REALOGIS) and Nuveen Real Estate have successfully achieved full occupancy of a logistics property of around 20,920 m² in Langwedel, Lower Saxony. The remaining space of around 10,280 m² was leased on a long-term basis to DHL Supply Chain, the DHL Group’s contract logistics division. With this contract, the property Am Buchweizenkamp 18 is fully occupied. REALOGIS Immobilien Deutschland GmbH exclusively advised Nuveen on the letting.
The property, which was built in 2023, impresses with its outstanding sustainability quality and bears DGNB Platinum certification. The property is located on a plot of around 38,450 m² and includes around 9,740 m² of logistics space as well as around 540 m² of office space. Equipped with a PV system, heat pump, LED lighting and e-charging stations, the property meets the highest requirements for CO2 neutrality and modern building technology. Other features include a clear height of 10 m, ten ramps, a covered ground-level gate and a 24/7 operating license.
According to the mediating consultant Fabian von Rohr from REALOGIS, the sustainability features of the building, in addition to the direct motorway connection and the proximity to Bremen, were a decisive factor in DHL Supply Chain’s decision to lease.
The municipality of Langwedel is about 30 minutes by car from Bremen and benefits from a very good traffic situation due to the direct connection to the A 27, which makes the location equally attractive for national and regional logistics users.
