PAREF Gestion, supported by the PAREF Group's investment team, announces the acquisition of two retail properties in Germany for the SCPI PAREF Prima fund. The properties, located in Bielefeld and Hamm in North Rhine-Westphalia, are fully leased to Handelshof, a cash & carry chain specialising in local supply, with a fixed lease term of 7.5 years.

The first property is located in Hamm in the eastern Ruhr area, an important business location in Westphalia, and thus in a conurbation with around 180,000 inhabitants. It offers around 13,000 m² of rental space on two floors, very good connections to important transport routes and 280 parking spaces.

The second location is located in Bielefeld, the most important economic centre of East Westphalia-Lippe, in a conurbation with around 338,000 inhabitants. Around 7,300 m² of rental space and 109 car parking spaces are available on two floors.

Both properties are 100 percent leased to Handelshof for 7.5 years. With almost 20 locations in Germany, the company is one of the leading providers in the cash & carry sector and is a subsidiary of EDEKA, Germany's leading food retailer.

Two acquisitions in line with PAREF Prima's strategy

As of 30 June 2026, the SCPI PAREF Prima comprised a total of 77 properties valued at €963 million. With the two acquisitions, the fund further expands its exposure to the German local supply segment and continues its selective investment strategy, which is based on the search for properties that generate regular income while helping to extend the remaining lease period of all properties in the fund.

Acquisitions underline the expertise of the PAREF Group's investment team

With assets under management of almost one billion euros in Germany, the PAREF Group has in-depth knowledge of the German market, which it puts at the service of the strategy of SCPI PAREF Prima and its shareholders.

Anne Schwartz, Managing Director of PAREF Gestion, comments: "We are very pleased to announce the acquisition of these two properties, which further strengthen the portfolio of SCPI PAREF Prima. In our view, local supply remains a particularly resilient asset class, driven by structural needs and solid rental demand. These two transactions underline our ability to capitalize on opportunities with robust fundamentals for SCPI PAREF Prima."

As part of this transaction, PAREF Gestion was advised on legal matters by Paul Hastings and on the technical and environmental due diligence by Arcadis, and the commercial due diligence was carried out by IPH Group. The seller was advised by JLL.
