Peters Development GmbH is consistently expanding its nationwide acquisition and development platform and strengthening its institutional positioning in the Light Industrial and Hospitality segments. In 2025, 25 projects in the Hanse Commercial Courtyards segment with a sales volume in the three-digit million range were successfully secured. The current pipeline includes over 100 sites in different stages of development.
With Dirk R. Sicken (MRICS), the company is gaining a proven transaction and investment expert with over 20 years of experience in the German real estate market. As a senior manager, he will support the nationwide acquisition activities, structured due diligence processes and the further development of the project portfolio.
At the same time, Simon Federau will strengthen the operational implementation of property acquisition and commercial project development as Associate Director Acquisition + Development.

Scaling strategy: 100+ Hanse commercial estates nationwide
“With Hanse Gewerbehöfe, we are developing a standardized, ESG-compliant light industrial product for German SMEs that is designed for scalability and a nationwide rollout,” says Peters. The focus is on plots between 8,500 and 20,000 square metres in established industrial and commercial areas of A, B and C cities. Good connections to motorways, connections to public transport and proximity to central logistics axes are crucial. “In the coming years, we are planning to realize more than 100 locations,” adds Peters.
Hospitality platform YORS Hotels continues to grow
“At the same time, we are systematically expanding our hospitality platform YORS Hotels and pursuing the goal of realizing a Germany-wide portfolio of several thousand rooms,” says Jakob Peters. In addition to new construction projects, the focus is on conversion locations and inner-city locations.
Strengthening institutional competence
Dirk R. Sicken most recently held a management position at Haferkamp Immobilien, where he was responsible for the sales department and the Germany-wide investment division. Previously, he held management positions at Aroundtown, VERIANOS, Corpus Sireo and Deka Immobilien, among others, with a focus on transaction and investment management.
Prior to joining Peters Development, Simon Federau worked at Frasers Property Industrial, Deutsche Reihenhaus AG and IDI Gazeley (Brookfield Logistics Properties), among others, and has extensive experience in business development, strategic acquisition and commercial project development.
With the expansion of the workforce, Peters is underlining its ambition to further expand its transaction activities as well as its early involvement in acquisition and project development processes and to align the platform for long-term growth.
