Following the triple letting success in the first half of the year, Real I.S. AG has recorded another new letting for the modern office building “ZENTRALBÜRO” in Darmstadt’s Europaviertel. The international technology group GMV has leased around 1,220 square meters of office space on the third floor. The lease was concluded for a term of seven years and brokered by Real I.S. Real Estate Management GmbH.
In the first half of the year, Real I.S. was already able to win over indoor climate expert Wolf GmbH, software and IT service provider ITS Informationstechnik Service GmbH and energy storage manufacturer Pixii Germany GmbH as new tenants for the “ZENTRALBÜRO”.
“The continuing leasing successes in the ZENTRALBÜRO show that the Europaviertel, with its strategically favourable location directly at the main railway station, is still a sought-after office location for companies in various industries. One of the decisive factors in concluding the contract was the efficient cooperation with Real I.S. Real Estate Management GmbH and its local market and leasing expertise,” says Franz Krewel, member of the Management Board of Real I.S. AG.
The six-storey “ZENTRALBÜRO” was built in 2003 and was last extensively modernised in 2024. It is located only about 200 meters from the main train station of the Science City. The quarter is characterized by its attractive conditions for innovative and high-tech industries. In the immediate vicinity is the European Space Operations Centre, the control centre of the European Space Agency (ESA).
Real I.S. acquired the approximately 20,000 square metre property at the beginning of 2022 for the institutional “Real I.S. Themenfonds Deutschland II”.
