Real I.S. AG has signed a lease agreement for the “Airfield Office” in Böblingen. The innovative IT service provider Thorit GmbH is moving into 488 square meters of office space in the flexible office building on a long-term basis. The lease is scheduled to start in the first quarter of 2026. The deal was brokered by the Stuttgart-based brokerage company Amanthos.
“The ‘Airfield Office’ convinces with flexible, modern workspaces and an attractive location within an exciting district development. A big thank you goes to all those involved in the project for the successful lease agreement and to Thorit GmbH for the trusting discussions,” says Franz Krewel, member of the board of Real I.S. AG.
The “Airfield Office”, which was certified with LEED Gold when it was built, comprises more than 11,800 square metres of rental space. In total, the energy-efficient commercial building with flexible office layouts has 185 parking spaces in the underground car park, which can optionally be equipped with charging stations for e-cars. Real I.S. connected the property in 2018 for the institutional “Regional Fund Southern Germany”.
The “Airfield Office” is located in the mixed-use Flugfeld district, not far from Böblingen train station and Böblingen city centre. On around 80 hectares, the innovative quarter connects the cities of Böblingen and Sindelfingen and combines various usage concepts, such as living, working and leisure.
