REALOGIS Immobilien Deutschland GmbH (REALOGIS), Germany’s leading consulting firm for industrial and logistics properties as well as commercial properties, has leased a commercial unit of around 8,000 m2 at the Spechtweg site in Braunschweig on a long-term basis. The brokerage was carried out on behalf of the international investor and project developer Hillwood.
The user of the land is the SCT Group, a manufacturer of engine oils, lubricants, AdBlue and automotive spare parts. The company has set up its German headquarters at the new location and created additional capacity for the further increase in sales volume.
In addition to 7,000m2 of hall space, the lease also includes 500m2 of mezzanine space and 300m2 of office space. In addition, the SCT Group has secured 19 car parking spaces and one truck parking space.
“The long-term lease significantly strengthens the performance of the site for Hillwood. This is because the tenant’s profile fits exactly with the owner’s sustainable investment and location strategy. The WGK III capabilities of the space and the property’s very good connections to the A2 and A39 motorways as well as public transport made a significant contribution to the leasing decision,” explains Fabian von Rohr, the consultant at REALOGIS responsible for the deal.
