The Robert C. Spies Group has brokered the sale of a development site with existing buildings in a central location in Diepholz to the town of Diepholz. The seller is a private owners’ association. The parties to the contract have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
The site in question comprises the plots at Lange Straße 57–60 and at Lappenberger Rott 1–6 and 9, with a total area of around 2,300 m². The plots form part of the Lappenberg site and are situated in the immediate vicinity of Diepholz town centre. The town of Diepholz is planning to build a central medical centre there, comprising several buildings and a complementary multi-storey car park. The project aims to strengthen outpatient medical care whilst also providing a new impetus for the revitalisation of the northern part of the town centre. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2028.
“With the acquisition of this centrally located plot of land, we are laying an important foundation for the further development of the Lappenberg site. The planned integration of healthcare provision and town centre development is a key component of Diepholz’s forward-looking urban development,” says Florian Marré, Mayor of Diepholz.
“Centrally located plots offer the opportunity to rethink existing structures and create long-term added value for the area. We are delighted to have successfully supported this process,” said Jan Schneider, managing partner of Robert C. Spies Immobilien im Bremer Norden GmbH.
