Robert C. Spies Industrial Real Estate GmbH & Co. KG has successfully advised on the leasing of a 3,000 m² light industrial property at Hanna-Kunath-Straße 29-31 in Bremen’s Airport City. The new tenant of the property with around 1,650 m² of hall space and 1,300 m² of office space is the DRK-Kreisverband Bremen e. V. for the Bremen rescue service. The lease agreement was concluded with a subsidiary of Peper & Söhne GmbH, based in Bremen.
“With the lease, we were able to support the German Red Cross and the Bremen City Rescue Service in the realization of a strategically important new location,” explains Marcel Holka, logistics real estate consultant at Robert C. Spies Industrial Real Estate in Bremen. After completion of extensive renovation work, the German Red Cross, together with other service providers, will use the area as a disinfection and logistics centre for the rescue service. The lease term is initially 15 years.
“With the new logistics location in the immediate vicinity of Bremen Airport, we are creating central prerequisites for fast and effective operational logistics – especially in the area of disinfection and equipment maintenance,” says Bernd Blüm, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the DRK-Kreisverband Bremen e.
