The capital management company Quadoro Investment GmbH, together with its cooperation partner, EB – Sustainable Investment Management GmbH (EB-SIM), has reached another milestone for the Quadoro Renewable Energies Europe (QEEE) fund: With the Bodenrode solar park, a ready-to-build project development in Thuringia, a ready-to-build project development in Thuringia, has been successfully integrated into the fund portfolio.
The project is located in the municipality of Bodenrode-Westhausen in the district of Eichsfeld and covers an area of around 7.4 hectares. A ground-mounted photovoltaic park with a planned capacity of around 10 megawatt peak (MWp) is being built there. The building permit has been granted, and construction started on 23 February 2026. Commissioning is scheduled for summer 2026.
The expected annual yield is around 10.7 million kilowatt hours. This corresponds to a saving of around 3,700 tonnes of CO₂ per year (based on the German electricity mix). The project took part in the EEG tender in December and was awarded a contract. The solar park is being built by TEAG Solar GmbH, an experienced provider of tailor-made photovoltaic solutions. The project development was carried out by Aracari Solar GmbH, a specialist in integrated system solutions in the field of ground-mounted and agri-photovoltaic power plants as well as energy storage systems.

It shows that the energy transition and the reduction of dependence on energy imports in Germany are progressing successfully, while at the same time generating stable and predictable fund income.”
