The VIVIT Group, an investment and real estate manager and portfolio developer specialising in office, residential and commercial properties, has recently been responsible for the leasing management of the Y2 office building in Frankfurt am Main. The order comes from the owner Covivio, whose portfolio includes the approximately 30,000 square metre property. With this mandate, both companies are expanding their cooperation – Covivio has already commissioned VIVIT to lease the Airport Business Center in Düsseldorf in 2025.
Y2 is an office building at Emil-von-Behring-Straße 8-14 in the Merton district, a residential and office district in the northwest of the city. The building is star-shaped and stands out for its architecturally unique structure. It was built in 1995 for Deutsche Telekom, which used it as a single tenant until 2005. Since then, the tenant structure has been very diverse. Today, mainly public service offices are located here, as well as two daycare centers. The Y2 is BREEAM-certified and has around 570 parking spaces. At present, flexible office space is still available and can be requested.
A few minutes’ walk from Y2 is Merton’s Passage shopping centre, which has retail outlets and various dining options. There is a very good connection to public transport from here through several bus stops and the two underground stations Wiesenau and Heddernheimer Landstraße, which are within walking distance. By subway, you can reach the Hauptwache in the center of Frankfurt within a quarter of an hour.
