In Kressbronn on Lake Constance, the construction of the new residential quarter “Wohnzukunft Bachtobel” has begun. With a total of 80 sustainable rental apartments, urgently needed, affordable housing is being created here. REM CAPITAL provided comprehensive advice to the client, Sparkasse Bodensee, on the development and implementation of the funding strategy, thus making a significant contribution to the successful financing of the project. A funding commitment from the L-Bank for the construction project has already been received.
The new quarter comprises six apartment buildings. The offer ranges from 1-room apartments to 5-room apartments with living areas between 35 and 125 square meters. Around a quarter of the apartments are socially subsidized and will be well below the local rent level. In addition, a large proportion of barrier-free and age-appropriate units will be created.
The project also sets standards in terms of sustainability: The buildings will be constructed in KfW 55 timber construction and equipped with green flat roofs and photovoltaic systems. In addition, the connection to the local local heating network will be made.
REM CAPITAL as a partner for promotional financing
“The Wohnzukunft Bachtobel project makes a valuable contribution to relieving the burden on the regional housing market in Kressbronn and combines ecological sustainability with social responsibility,” explains Jan Bewarder, CEO of REM CAPITAL. “Subsidies are an important instrument, but only if they arrive and have an effect. We are therefore proud to contribute to the realization of this important project with our funding advice.”
As part of the funding strategy, REM CAPITAL identified suitable funding for the construction project and supported Sparkasse Bodensee in the application process. The aim was to optimise the financing costs and at the same time ensure the social and ecological impact of the project in the long term.
