WeChefs chooses SEGRO to set up its first food production unit in the Lyon region

WeChefs is renting around 3,500 m² at SEGRO Centre Corbas Montmartin 1, near Lyon, for its first food production unit. The lease will take effect on 1 October 2026 and operation will start in the first quarter of 2027. The company plans to produce up to 25,000 meals per day and eventually create around a hundred jobs.

Energiequelle has commissioned an Enercon E 138 EP3 E3 with 4.26 MW in Danna and compacted the adjacent Feldheim wind farm. Around 9,000 MWh are expected annually, enough for about 2,600 to 2,700 three-person households. The planning went almost smoothly.
