GreenPlaces Deutschland Asset Management GmbH is celebrating the topping-out ceremony for its new commercial location in Bisingen (Zollernalbkreis) in Baden-Württemberg today. At Conrad-Röntgen-Straße 6, 34 modular commercial units are being built on a plot of around 7,800 square metres. They are particularly suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises as well as start-ups from the trades, services and production. The usable space, which can be used as a workshop, warehouse, office or showroom, among other things, adds up to approx. 4,000 square metres. The areas are to be ready for occupancy in spring 2026.
GreenPlaces develops and operates modular business parks in solid timber construction. They are characterized by a high degree of energy efficiency and flexibility. The two-storey modules each comprise 122 square metres of usable space and can be purchased individually or rented, but can also be combined into larger units. This model thus supports young companies in particular in their future expansion: If they need additional space after a few years, they can rent neighboring rooms if they are available. This eliminates the time-consuming search for a new location.
Each unit is equipped with a large roller door, its own entrance and two outdoor parking spaces. Photovoltaic systems on the roof and heat pumps support a fossil-free energy supply.
Roman Waizenegger, Mayor of the municipality of Bisingen, says: “The sustainable and flexible commercial space of GreenPlaces makes an important contribution to strengthening our economy. Existing companies that want to expand will find modern, well-connected space here. We also hope that the location will also attract start-ups. In the long term, we want to make a contribution to more economic diversity and create additional jobs in our municipality.”
Markus Eberhard, Managing Director of GreenPlaces Deutschland Asset Management, adds: “Bisingen fits perfectly into our location strategy. The municipality has a high quality of life and economic dynamism. In addition, the site is excellently connected to Stuttgart, Tübingen and Reutlingen via the Bundesstraße 27, which has been expanded to four lanes in the region. The journey time to these economic centres is about one hour each. These are crucial conditions for our users.”
With the new location in Bisingen, GreenPlaces is continuing its expansion strategy. By 2030, the network of locations in Germany and Switzerland is expected to grow to around 70; a large part of this is to be built in Germany. When choosing new locations, the focus is on economically strong regions in Baden-Württemberg, Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate.
