On behalf of a private investor, the Leipzig branch of Aengevelt Immobilien is brokering the sale of two fully let apartment buildings in the town of Markkleeberg, south of Leipzig, for a seven-digit euro amount. The properties, which were built in the 1950s and renovated in 2008, comprise a total of 14 residential units with around 1,000 m² of living space. The buyer is the REAQ Immobilien Gruppe, a real estate company from Aachen that has been established for 25 years and acquired the property to expand its portfolio in the region. The purchase price was not disclosed. The gross initial yield is stated at around 5% p.a.
Andreas Baur, Managing Director of the REAQ Immobilien Group, comments: “The apartment buildings brokered for us by Aengevelt fit perfectly into our investment strategy: They are located in a popular residential district and have sought-after apartment sizes and demand-oriented floor plans as well as south-facing balconies, a long-standing tenant base and spacious, green inner courtyards.”
“In addition to the qualities mentioned above, the properties impressed with their good condition of the property, very good transport and public transport connections to the city of Leipzig and an attractive yield. All in all, they represent a sought-after and sustainable investment,” adds Ullrich Müller, Branch Manager Aengevelt Leipzig.
