The Lindhorst Group, a family-run group of companies with activities in the business areas of construction and real estate as well as care and health, among others, has been continuing the operation of the Parkresidenz Lünen with new partners since November 2025. The first move-ins are expected from January 2026.
The 60 modern two-room apartments can now be rented again as service apartments for senior citizens through the new rental and management partner Eskes Immobilien GmbH & Co. KG from Waltrop (www.eskes-immobilien.de).
In addition to social activities at the site and consulting services , services, such as a home emergency call, a domestic help or a menu service, optionally via the also newly acquired partner DasDies Service GmbH (www.dasdies.de), a subsidiary of AWO, can be booked additionally. At the beginning of 2026, the company will open a contact point for the residents of the Parkresidenz Lünen in the property.
“The serviced living offer had to be completely discontinued at the end of July 2025, as our previous operating partner had given up this location,” explains Christoph Wilhelm, press spokesman for the Lindhorst Group, adding: “After analysing possible usage concepts, we decided to continue as a serviced residential complex and have now been investing a high six-figure sum in the partial refurbishment and renovation of the apartments in the Parkresidenz since the vacancy Lünen. Depending on the condition of the individual rental unit, this includes, among other things, painting and repair work, but sometimes also floor cultivation or the overhaul of the bathrooms. In this way, we want to make a significant contribution to increasing the quality of living.”
About the serviced housing offer of the Parkresidenz Lünen
“The first apartments were already completed at the beginning of November 2025. The complete completion of all work is planned for the end of 2025, so that the rental will now take place successively,” reports Georg Eskes from the property management company Eskes Immobilien.
The Parkresidenz Lünen offers 60 modern two-room apartments in sizes between 43 and 64 square metres with clearly structured floor plans. Each of the apartments is flooded with light, barrier-free and can be reached via an elevator on the upper floors. In addition to a living room and bedroom, hallway and kitchen with kitchenette, all rental units also include a senior-friendly shower room as well as a storage room, a balcony and a cellar. The special safety needs for senior citizens were taken into account in the equipment. For example, door peepholes, intercom systems, lockable handles on all movable window and patio door elements on the ground floor and a fire alarm system with a connection to the fire brigade are standard.
Common rooms for social activities as well as shared laundry rooms for washing machines and dryers are available for use by all residents of the Parkresidenz Lünen.
Rents including operating costs amount to 664 euros to 975 euros per month and are thus almost unchanged on average even after the upgrading of the location. In addition, there is the basic flat rate for social activities and consulting services and, if necessary, for additional services requested. The costs for the latter are calculated individually according to the service package by DasDies Service GmbH.
