Built in Art Nouveau style and opened in 1902, the Münster-Therme at Münsterstraße 13 in the Pempelfort district is the oldest swimming pool in Düsseldorf. In addition to the swimmer’s pool in the historic ambience, the Münster-Therme houses a Finnish sauna, a steam bath, a brine pool and a salt grotto. Now a private dermatological group practice is being added as a provider of the complete spectrum of dermatology, which will open here in December 2025. Aengevelt brokered a long-term lease agreement for around 255 m². The landlord is Bädergesellschaft Düsseldorf mbH, a subsidiary of the state capital Düsseldorf.

“We were looking for modern practice space at an easily accessible inner-city location with a need for a dermatological practice.

The rooms in the Münster-Therme arranged for us by Aengevelt meet all these requirements in an ideal way and also offer an extraordinary historical charm. The practice space thus meets the optimal conditions for the successful operation of our practice, which offers the wide range of dermatological services based on the latest medical knowledge while exploiting the latest technologies,” explain the owners of the joint practice Dr. Jana Ellermann, Dr. Felix Köster and Dr. Stéphanie Rabut.

“The dermatological practice is a very good addition to the range of services offered by the Münster-Therme.

We are all the more pleased about the long-term lease decision on the part of Dr. Ellermann, Dr. Köster and Dr. Rabut, because it stands for continuity and is therefore an excellent fit for the Münster-Therme – with its impressive history and unique ambience one of the most beautiful facilities of the Bädergesellschaft,” says Achim Freund, Head of Bathing Operations at Bädergesellschaft Düsseldorf mbH.

“We provided the dermatologists with comprehensive support and transparently presented them with the offer available according to their search profile.

The decision was made to rent the Münster-Therme, which optimally meets the search criteria with its location, building and space qualities and also offers the group practice excellent visibility due to the high number of visitors. In addition, our location analyses revealed a marked need for a dermatological practice, which thus represents an important expansion of the range of medical services in this urban district,” says Christoph Mooren, Head of the Commercial Leasing Team at Aengevelt Düsseldorf, describing the reasons for the decision to lease.
