PANDION lays foundation stone for 133 apartments in Bonn Bad Godesberg
Cologne-based project developer PANDION laid the foundation stone for the new PANDION PRINZZ residential quarter in Bonn’s Bad Godesberg district on 16 December 2025, thus heralding the start of construction. In addition to those involved in the project, the first buyers of the apartments also took part in the traditional ceremony. On the approximately 9,300 square metre site on the corner of Wielandstrasse, Mirbachstrasse and Kronprinzenstrasse, 119 condominiums are being built, supplemented by 14 publicly subsidised residential units. The condominiums comprise one to four rooms and offer 30 to 130 square meters of living space. In addition, two townhouses, each with six rooms and 188 m² and 194 m² of living space, are being built.
“The sensitive and at the same time attractive embedding of the new buildings in the historic villa district of Bad Godesberg is a challenge that we were very happy to accept. We are looking forward to creating new living space not far from the Rhine with lots of greenery, a view and high quality. The fact that around 40 percent of the residential units in the first construction phase have already been sold before construction begins underlines the trust of our buyers and the attractiveness of the location,” says Klaus Küppers, Branch Manager at PANDION.
The PANDION PRINZZ quarter has received the Sustainable Building (QNG) seal of quality and is characterised by high-quality construction and equipment standards, attractively designed outdoor facilities and modern smart home equipment in each residential unit. Photovoltaic systems will be installed on all roofs. In addition, the project includes an underground car park with pre-equipment for electromobility and façade greening.
The design comes from the Cologne-based architectural firm Römer Kögeler und Partner. The representative entrance foyers and common areas are designed by the interior design firm STUDIO ASH. After extensive demolition work and preparatory construction measures in recent months, building construction can officially begin in February 2026.
