The VIVIT Group, an investment and real estate manager and portfolio developer specialising in office, residential and commercial real estate, has acquired a property in Essen for repositioning for its portfolio portfolio. The subject of the acquisition is an office building at Kronprinzenstraße 10, which the VIVIT Group has taken over from a Cologne-based family office.

The six-storey property was originally built for an insurance company and has since been continuously rented to companies in the field of legal and tax advice. It comprises approx. 1,250 square metres of rental space. The space structure is designed to be both efficient and flexible, which offers great potential for restructuring and the planned repositioning on the market.

Carl Jonas Schippel, Managing Partner of the VIVIT Group, explains the purchase decision: “We will develop the property into an attractive and modern location for agile companies in the portfolio – precisely those who appreciate creative workspace and urban values. At the same time, there is also the potential to create a commercial residential concept for young professionals and expats. Which of the two concepts we will implement will be decided in the first half of 2026.”

The location at Kronprinzenstraße 10 benefits from an attractive location and very good transport connections. It is located in the up-and-coming southern quarter of the city, not far from the Stadtgarten and the trendy Rüttenscheider Straße district. The centrally located Essen district has developed into an attractive leisure, cultural and business location, which offers a high level of urban added value for residents with its attractive retail trade and diverse gastronomy

The transaction was advised by BNP Paribas Real Estate as agent and successfully completed.
