New tenant in Bad Hersfeld: Periscope Logistics leases new logistics building to LINOVAG LADENBAU (EDEKA network)

The Periscope Logistics Fund has signed a long-term lease agreement with LINOVAG LADENBAU GmbH. The contract covers a new building of around 10,000 m² in size, ESG-compliant, which is being built on the site “Berliner Straße 1 in Bad Hersfeld (Hesse)”. The property is already the second new development on the site.

The location impresses with its excellent infrastructure: Located directly on the A4, all major economic regions of Germany can be reached within three to four hours – Frankfurt am Main in only about 1.5 hours. A bus stop directly on the property also provides a convenient connection to Bad Hersfeld train station.

With the planned new building, the more than 200,000 m² site will now be further developed in a targeted manner.

Dr. Kilian Mahler, Managing Partner of Periskop Logistics GmbH: “We are very pleased to have gained LINOVAG LADENBAU, a renowned and fast-growing partner from the EDEKA Group, for the Bad Hersfeld location. LINOVAG’s commitment underlines the attractiveness of the area and the future viability of sustainable logistics properties.”

LINOVAG LADENBAU GmbH, part of the EDEKA Group, is one of Germany’s leading system manufacturers in shopfitting. The company develops, produces and implements tailor-made shopfitting concepts and product presentation systems – especially for the food retail sector. Numerous successfully implemented markets throughout Germany underline LINOVAG’s many years of expertise.

With the new building, the company is expanding its existing location in Bad Hersfeld and strengthening its regional presence. Fabian Metz, Managing Director of LINOVAG LADENBAU GmbH, emphasizes: “The Bad Hersfeld location offers us the ideal combination of logistical location, modern infrastructure and qualified specialists in the region. We are looking forward to working in partnership with Periskop Logistics and to the next step in the development of our company.”

The lease was concluded on a long-term basis. CBRE GmbH acted as an intermediary company in the transaction.

There is still development potential for additional new buildings at the Bad Hersfeld site. Interested companies can contact the team of Periskop Logistics GmbH directly.
