As part of location optimization and space expansion, UXCam GmbH, which belongs to the American IT and software company UXCam headquartered in San Francisco, was looking for a new location for its German headquarters in Berlin. Aengevelt is brokering attractive loft office space in the residential/commercial building Schönhauser Allee 149 in Prenzlauer Berg. The landlord of the property, which has a total office space of around 2,400 m², is the BerlinPrime Group, which has achieved full occupancy of the office space with the closing. The lease will start in spring 2026, when UXCam will move its headquarters from Wedding to here.
“In times of an increasing shortage of skilled workers, it is important to position yourself as an attractive employer in order to find the right new colleagues, especially in the field of software development. For us, this includes attractive and contemporary office space and a top environment. Against this background, we were looking for new premises in a trendy district that met this requirement both in terms of space and location. The location brokered for us by Aengevelt is ideal for this: The modern loft-style office space is located in a prime neighbourhood location in Prenzlauer Berg with a lively, creative environment and offers an optimal working atmosphere,” says Silvanus Alt, Managing Director of UXCam GmbH, describing the factors for the decision to rent.
“We are pleased to welcome UXCam, an internationally active company, to Schönhauser Allee 149. The software specialist is a very good addition to our tenant mix. In addition, the lease decision confirms the properties and locations of our property,” says BerlinPrime Properties Managing Director Jürgen Terschluse.
“Our company transparently presented the complete range of office space available to UXCam GmbH according to the search profile. The decision was made to lease the loft office building at Schönhauser Allee 149. The property impressed with its modern, flexibly configurable office space, which optimally meets the company’s requirements, and at the same time a special working atmosphere. Other factors included the attractive retail and gastronomy offerings in the immediate vicinity of the property and the good transport connections, including public transport,” says Adina Schmidt of Aengevelt Berlin, describing the qualities of the brokered office space.
