As an asset manager, JLL brokers 600 m² of retail space at Lange Straße 74
McDonald’s will open a new fast-food restaurant in Oldenburg’s city centre. To this end, the company has rented around 600 m² in the building at Lange Straße 74. The property, which was built in 2006, has a total area of 1,250 m². McDonald’s will be the first long-term tenant to move into the property since 2020. The lease has a term of ten years. Since S’Oliver moved out in August 2020, the building has been repeatedly rented on an interim basis. Most recently, CFHome GmbH used the space as a furniture concept. The handover of the area to McDonald’s is planned by April 2026. Renovation work on the property is currently still underway. Following the handover, McDonald’s will begin its own store renovation.
The owner of the Oldenburg commercial building is Deka Immobilien Investment GmbH. JLL advised Deka Immobilien as part of an asset management mandate and brokered the lease. Lührmann was active on the user side.
