The US sandwich chain Subway is continuing its growth course in Germany and is celebrating the relaunch of its location at Steinsetzerstraße 11 in the Werder Karree. The franchisee Subway Lal GbR has leased an area of around 143 m² on the ground floor on a long-term basis as of 1 January 2026. The landlord is Armado Real Estate GmbH. The lease was advised and brokered by Robert C. Spies Gewerbe & Investment GmbH & Co. KG.
The restaurant will be designed in a modern “Fresh Forward 2.0” design. The concept stands for a contemporary appearance with bright colors, wood look and digitally supported ordering systems that make the service process more efficient.
With the relaunch, Subway is strengthening its presence in Bremen. Nationwide, the company continues to push ahead with its modernization and expansion and currently manages around 660 restaurants in Germany.
