TOGE Dübel secures a total of 5,046 m²

Union Investment has signed a lease agreement with TOGE Dübel, a specialist in concrete fastenings, for two logistics halls including office space at the City Logistics Hub in Nuremberg. The subsidiary of the Würth Group has secured 5,046 m² in order to expand its operating space in the immediate vicinity of the current location. The handover will take place in September of this year. Completion of the halls is scheduled for January 2027.

The former Meister Areal retail park is currently being transformed into a modern and almost fully electrified city logistics hub with around 26,700 m² of logistics space and a new local supply centre for residents and employees. Union Investment is investing around EUR 60 million in the transformation through its open-ended real estate mutual fund for institutional investors, UniInstitutional German Real Estate.

“The conclusion of the lease agreement with TOGE Dübel is another important milestone for our transformation project. We are currently already in talks with interested parties for three more halls, which will be completed next year. We signed a long-term lease agreement with Edeka for the local supply areas at an early stage,” explains Matthias Wagner, Asset Manager and Project Manager at Union Investment.
