Deka Immobilien has signed a new lease agreement with the tenant Corendon Hotels & Resorts for the operation of the 5-star Hotel W in Amsterdam. W Amsterdam consists of two listed buildings that were renovated in 2015 and converted from office buildings to the hotel. It has 238 rooms, including 66 suites, a spa and two renowned restaurants. The hotel is located right next to the Royal Palace and in the immediate vicinity of Dam Square, the most central square in the Dutch capital.
With Corendon, a financially sound and experienced hotel operator is taking over the luxury hotel with a long-term lease. The company will continue to operate the hotel under the Marriott brand W. The property has been part of the portfolio of the open-ended real estate fund Deka-ImmobilienGlobal since 2017.
