Following the successful market launch, DSR Hotel Holding is taking over the operation of the premium hotel on Lake Tegernsee with its A-ROSA brand
On September 1, 2026, DSR Hotel Holding will take over the hotel operations with its A-ROSA brand. For SORAVIA, the leading market player in the DACH region for high-quality hospitality properties, this is the next step in the successful development and positioning of the hotel – which has already established itself on the market in recent years and has been able to win A-ROSA, one of the most renowned premium holiday specialists in the German-speaking world, as its operator.
The hotel was originally built as a tribute to Queen Caroline of Bavaria and combines alpine craftsmanship, modern design and sustainability – confirmed by LEED Gold certification. Since opening in 2023, the hotel with 123 rooms and suites, rooftop bar and spa has established itself as a sought-after upscale destination against the impressive backdrop of Lake Tegernsee.
“Since its reopening, the hotel has been successfully positioned on the market as a high-quality hospitality destination. Together with DSR Hotel Holding, the basis for the further success of the hotel has been laid,” says Hans-Peter Weiss, COO SORAVIA. “The fact that the entire team will continue to work for the hotel speaks for the quality, passion and professionalism of the people who make this house a successful product, in the future under the company name A-ROSA Tegernsee.”
With the successful market launch of the Caro & Selig, SORAVIA underlines its competence as a developer and operator of high-quality resort hotels in the DACH region and as a formative player for high-quality hospitality and resort developments in German-speaking countries. The hotel exemplifies the company’s claim to successfully position exceptional destinations on the market with operational excellence and long-term value creation.
