Goldbeck Technical Solutions GmbH, part of the construction and services company Goldbeck, which operates throughout Europe, is further expanding its business in the field of energy-efficient renovation of residential buildings. With several projects taken over by different clients in Hamburg, Böblingen and Detmold, the increasing demand for sustainable solutions in the residential real estate portfolio is evident.
In total, Goldbeck’s experts are currently renovating a total of 22 buildings with a total of around 370 residential units and 24 commercial units and a total area of around 35,700 square metres.
One focus is on several projects in Hamburg. Here, Goldbeck Technical Solutions implements comprehensive energy-efficient renovations of residential and mixed-use properties – from roof, balcony and façade work to basement insulation and the modernization of building services to the use of energy-efficient heat pump solutions. These measures will be supplemented by asbestos removal, new heating systems and other structural and technical optimisations. The renovation of an underground car park also falls within the scope of responsibility. For parts of the portfolio, the aim is to achieve an energy efficiency standard corresponding to the level of an efficiency house 70.
In Böblingen, the Bielefeld-based company is implementing the energy-efficient renovation of two residential high-rises with a total of 175 residential units for the DeWAG Group. In addition to almost classic measures such as insulation and façade renewal, the project also includes a comprehensive visual and functional upgrade, for example of balconies, entrance areas and stairwells, as well as the complete dismantling of the previously polluted façade. Energy efficiency is improved from class D to B.
An already completed project in Detmold for a private owner illustrates the technical range of services: In addition to the façade renovation including the thermal insulation composite system, asbestos-containing components were professionally dismantled and balconies, window connections, drainage systems and entrance area were modernized.
In all projects, all revitalisation measures will be implemented in the inhabited stock. In addition to planning and holistic construction, Goldbeck is also responsible for the necessary structured tenant and construction process coordination, including communication with the tenants as well as the integration of funding and efficiency issues in close coordination with specialists. The aim is to control construction processes efficiently and to keep the disruption to the residents as low as possible.
