JLL brokers new building on the site of a former coal-fired power plant
An international logistics service provider (3PL) in the healthcare sector is expanding its logistics network in Germany. To this end, the company has rented almost 37,300 m² of usable space in Segro Park Dortmund at Levi-Baum-Straße 9. In Hall C, the logistics service provider will use around 33,000 m² of warehouse space and 900 m² of office space, with the rest being allocated to mezzanine areas. The areas are to be taken over after completion next October.
Segro is currently developing the site with a total of 200,000 m² of rental space on the site of a former coal-fired power plant. While Halls A and C are being built speculatively, Hall B was awarded to Amazon at an early stage. Segro is aiming for DGNB Platinum certification for its logistics properties. With the lease by the new user, Hall C is already fully let before completion.
JLL advised the logistics service provider and brokered the lease.
