Tishman Speyer secures refinancing of EUR 121 million for the Junghof in Frankfurt

Tishman Speyer, a leading global real estate developer, owner, operator and investment manager, announces the successful refinancing of Junghof, its high-quality office and retail ensemble in Frankfurt’s banking district. Natixis Pfandbriefbank AG provided a variable-rate bank loan of EUR 121.6 million with a term of five years, including all extension options.

The eight-storey Junghof combines historic architecture with contemporary design and comprises around 22,000 square metres of office space and around 1,200 square metres of retail and catering space on the ground floor. The property is currently 95% let. The main tenants include Helaba Invest, Frankfurter Bankgesellschaft and K1 BusinessClub. In addition, Tishman Speyer recently announced that the international law firm Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP) will rent space in the Junghof. Occupancy is planned for 2027.

“The successful refinancing of Junghof underlines the continued high availability of capital for first-class office properties in prime locations,” said Florian Reiff, Senior Managing Director and Head of Germany at Tishman Speyer. “With this financing, we are creating a solid basis to continue the positive leasing momentum of the Junghof and to continue to offer our tenants a first-class environment in the future.”

“We are proud to accompany Tishman Speyer in the next chapter of Junghof’s development. This transaction fits perfectly with Natixis Pfandbriefbank’s strategy to promote future-proof, institutionally managed real estate in prime locations,” says Dirk Brandes, Executive Board Member at Natixis Pfandbriefbank AG.
