The project developer Hillwood has won a tenant for its commercial and industrial project in Oberhausen. A leading Asian e-commerce company is moving into a total of 18,400 square meters of logistics space at the address Im Waldteich 10.
The lease is scheduled to start in October, just in time for the completion date. The Waldteich commercial site is located in the immediate vicinity of the A3 motorway. The property comprises a total of 16,290 square metres of hall, 1,446 square metres of mezzanine and 624 square metres of office space as well as 28 car parking spaces. DGNB Gold certification is being sought.
“The lease underlines the continuing high demand for space from international users in Germany and the Ruhr region. The central location of the Waldteich business park in the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region makes the site particularly attractive for logistics and e-commerce companies.
