International real estate investment manager Savills Investment Management (Savills IM) has appointed Alex Griffiths as Global Head of Client Capital.
Alex Griffiths joins from AEW Europe, where she served as Managing Director and Head of Investor Relations.
In her almost 13 years at AEW Europe, she led the areas of Capital Raising, Client Relationship Management, Project Management, Investor Services as well as Marketing and Communications.
Under her leadership, more than 30 billion euros in capital commitments were raised for funds, individual mandates, co-investments and joint ventures.
In her new role, Alex Griffiths will be responsible for Savills IM’s global capital raising and investor relations activities.
She will also further develop the company’s client capital strategy and drive growth in key international markets.
Savills IM currently manages around €25.5 billion in debt and equity strategies across the UK, Europe and the APAC region, where the firm recently appointed Shu (Shusaku) Watanabe as Head of Japan. The firm employs more than 330 people across 15 locations and invests in residential and commercial real estate sectors through discretionary funds, joint ventures and individual mandates.
